a long long week: my birthday, the gifts and a new tattoo 𓂃˖˳·˖ ִֶָ ⋆🪷⋆ ִֶָ˖·˳˖𓂃 ִֶָ

HELLOOOO BABIESSSS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW ME I WAS 20 AND NOW IM 21 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i dont feel any different though i still feel like a kid tbh hehe so obviously i wrote last on my birthday eve's eve like 23rd night and posted it on 24th way past midnight. 

the next day i obviously had to go to class which was great we had a new history prof who explained all the empires like gossip <3 it was genuinely too fun you know for me the morning if 24th was very normal my general basic routine; ive stopped having eggs for breakfast and instead ive been currently hyperfixating on NUTELLA ON TOAST i love it so much i have no idea why i only waited for pancakes to have nutella ugh. anyways itd been a long long day for me and i somehow trudged back home hungry, tired and sleepy. and literally EVERYONE WAS THERE THERE WAS A PARTY POPPER, THERE WERE BALLOONS THERE WERE SO MANY PINK LILIES

and OBVIOUSLY because i was tired my reaction was just that of sheer disbelief T-T girls i love yall i know you might read this im so sorry im not able to fully describe how insane and random it was and when i say i didnt even know or realize there would be a surprise that day, IM NOT LYING I LITERALLY DIDNT EVEN WASH MY HAIR T-T so right after that i washed my hair i was rushing through basic makeup and hair drying and when i got back to the dining room my mom had ordered my absolute fav biryani AAAAA 

girl if youre in delhi lemme put you onto shabeena naseem's kitchen !!! she serves and cooks awadhi food and aunty has been doing it for so long she stopped for a while and i thought about her biryani so much that i would dream about it. one thing about me, i dream of food so often it is genuinely my main driving force. my friends were there they loved the biryani obviously and i was so excited to have them try it finally :p  also quick check in does my rambling sound boring hello </3 im worried i yap too much.

we ate and took pictures i changed into a dress i had bought and never worn because i was so under prepared at that moment, no one even told me to go shopping lmao

the gifts btw, i received some makeup, some skincare, two bags both so different but literally so me, i even got a nail uv lamp and a ceramic mug shaped like a lotus. ill post everything but for now i just wanted to give a quick rundown and summary of my weekend/ week after. but you know my absolute favourite thing had to be this adorable and beautiful little sculpture my sister made of me. ill add a picture below its from our trip in april where we were on a yacht and had just visited an island full of deers. i was wearing her kurti with jeans and my pink guess bag which was an insane valentines auction score. its got me, my leaning and forever reclined back and my pink guess bag.

she stayed up all night to make it and i love it so much ive set it on my vanity. alll the details on the tiny bag are so adorable i cant even believe she thought of that :((( it is 100% my favourite gift so far. but also like to be honest all my gifts were so sweet adorable and thoughtful. and somehow so perfect like everything i would totally 100% use and cherish. i love everyone. 

one more insane thing my sweet baby angel of a sister got me was a tamagotchi angel which is currently still in transit(her bsf went to bangkok and bought it for me and the girls havent met yet lol)

like guys literally wasn't my last post literally about a tamagotchi and how i wanted the tamagotchi angel??? I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE

theres apparently some other stuff too but she didnt tell me what they are T-T guess i'll find out soon enough lol i also got envelopes hehe which i ended up using to get some more random things. on my birthday eve after this mini party was over my bestfriend stayed the night and we all watched vhs tapes of me as a baby. i cried a bit because i heard my grandpa's voice after many years and he passed away during covid i love him and i hope im making him proud.

my birthday eve was honestly just the beginning of a 48 hour long birthday celebration lol by 2:30 my best friend, me and my sister were so tired we were fully knocked out in bed hehe

i woke up at 7:30 because the loml called me to wish me a happy birthday hehe and told me that by next week we would hopefully be together for the festive season and that the semester was officially fully over <3 i missed him so much i am so glad to have him back. that being said, his voice lulled me right back to sleep and i finally woke up around 10. i did have classes but i skipped them hihi. i had some breakfast i think mumma made dosa? yes mumma made dosaaaa my bsf actually lives right next to me so she had gone back home to shower before dosa. we ate we bedrotted again till she had to go back for some work

oh yes right before breakfast i got three more huge bouquets of lilies HEHEHEHEHEHEH anyways literally while i was lazing around my packages came and the thing is for context, while my sister was organising the surprise in a rush she told my other uni bsf aayati that the party was on my birthday, like the surprise was on my birthdy but it was on my eve so aayati and aaryaki accidentally missed out that day T-T WHICH IS WHY AAYATI WAS RIGHT BEHIND E WHEN I TURNED AROUND WITH MY PACKAGES AND I SCREAMED SO LOUDLY it was honestly worth recording and a better reaction than the day before but also like thats what random moments in life are like, you cant always record everything </3 aayati got me a chocolate cake hehe. CLASSIC. oh and i hadnt showered i was still in my pjs and i looked homeless in our pictures (╥﹏╥) we had lunch and obviously we had biryani i love the biryani she loves the biryani we all love the biryani and she takes some for aaryaki too and im actually gonna see her tomorrow like in the morning and we're going out for lunch :p   

right after lunch i randomly decided with aayati to go get a tattoo because when else will i be 21 and getting a tattoo on my birthday. i didn't exactly have dinner plans yet; my original plan was to go to humayunpur during lunch time with my sister and stuff ourselves till we couldnt move but everyone suggested that i should be doing fam dinner instead so thats what i did. aayati did have to leave early because aaryaki was sick so after she left i went to my room for a nap and i woke up really cranky and annoyed i dont know why. we couldnt get reservations at royal china and these two other places i wanted to have dinner at so i ditched everything and went to go get my tattoo which obviously my mom didnt even know about like 30 mins before i got it >o< we went to the mall we went to the first outlet and they sent us to the second outlet because it was bigger. meanwhile, we decided to do a reservation at a tapas bar i like, gonzo in priya high street. spoiler alert i was so happy we went there it was perfect. everything about this day i wanna put in a box and hide it for the days im down <3

so ABOUT MY TATTOO fun fact guys i was born at 4:44pm and thats what i gottttt on my neck kind of below and behind my ear. i also have a mole behind my ear which is kind of what my mom calls a natural nazar ka teeka- nazar means evil eye and the nazar ka teeka is like a protection charm against evil eye in our culture. so getting a) my birth time on my birthday b) getting 444 the very angel number for protection felt like a really cool choice <3 it was my first neck tattoo and my fourth ever tattoo and honestly im so glad i got it its so meaningful to me and such a cute placement. it didn't hurt at all and honestly i just had a ticklish feeling in my stomach the whole time. 

we went home and then waited for my dad and chachu to be ready and we reached just in time for our reservation hehehehe THE FOOD WAS TEWWW GOOODDDDD we had the non veg spl sushi options, the xiaolongbaos, the hargao and the chili oil wontons in the appetizer round. we also has an insane naga chili pork preparation it was so good!! our prawn yakitori though was a bit underwhelming but its fine you win some you lose some. finally we finished off with a thai chili basil fish stone bowl combo with rice. IT WAS THE BEST KRAPOW EVER WTF we all ate sm like we were ultra full by the time we got home. so like i said 48 hours of just insane birthday things hehehehe. i didnt want to make the yap so long but i guess theres no other way to tell everything that happened in those two days in detail all in one post T-T i'll put up a new post with my birthday haul soon <3 although honestly i shopped so much in october its practically all birthday gifts to myself hehe.

i gotta wake up kinda early again tomorrow <3

helloooo babiesssss god it has been SO long i am so sorry i havent done any cool interesting posts in a while i have been academically locked in T-T almost so locked in you wouldn't realize it's my birthday in two days. i kind of really wanted to do a fun big birthday make it diwali party themed but i'm so exhausted from studying </3  let me see if i can still manage one because its literally my 21st lol. anyways OMG SO MANY NEW PEOPLE HIII im still trying to get back to all the sweet and kind comments because i need to be on my laptop to access the blogs easily and ive only just been using my laptop to study

my day normally looks like this rn- 8am waking up by 11 im in class and it sometimes gets extended and i take about an hour to get back. and we dont have weekends off.............

yeah so apologies i really really wanted to post more this month but im still getting settled in with my new routine :(  also i got so many random things that i'd love to show you guys and talk about!!!! they aren't necessarily insane but you know just things i love and things that are very me. its 2:23 rn i really should be sleeping if i want atleast the bare minimum of sleep but i can manage a few more minutes to complete this post. i wanted to edit the layout a bit more too and refine it so it looks a bit more detailed. does this make sense?? i know the perfectionism definitely holds me back but it doesn't hurt to be good with the website codes <3 

i am totally posting tomorrow like for sure because i want to talk about my top 5 pixel mini consoles and don't think this is the ps vita or smth girl im literally talking about tamagotchis yeah im basically 21 but DOES IT REALLY EVEN MATTER i love them and ive always loved them. i would love to get like some insight into why exactly someone (me) enjoys mini games and things that are miniature but lowkey replicas and also likes the concept of tamagotchis (raising a virtual pet) im sure theres some childhood fixation thing there somewhere but thats something for another day cmon

helloooo babiessss im literally making a post again??? lol it is 2:56 at the moment and i am sleepy but also so grateful for the people who have been loving the blog <3 it is absolutely still a work in progress i would like to build cooler tab icons i would like to add more widgets that stay on the screen maybe some kind of spontaneous music 

i planned on adding a guest book of sorts but again i dont know if you guys know but im a day zero beginner with coding. i dont know a lot of things and its all trial and error for me to the darlings who requested tutorials i promise im trying but most codes are easily available on the blogs ive linked <3 the tv is all me i just saw a version on luvbug diaries i think and i ran with that!  i saw the crystal ball somewhere as well. of course not only the widgets i wish to work on the header as well its very bland as of now but im working towards it do not worry. i would also like to tighten my sidebars and make them neater and i havent settled ona background yet.

like i said a whole lot of typing and coding. i am so grateful for your kind words i hope i write and i read and i never stop <3 i shall be learning more complex widgets from my fav experienced bloggers

HELLOOOOO BABIESSSSS SDJZKMLDKJAHSVDZZXBZSA IT WAS MY SISTER'S BIRTHDAYYY ON THE 5THHHHHH we decorated the house for her and we even hung up baby pictures with tinsel hehehe we also had a ramen bar and a huge pizza to share <3 

i had already placed the order for her cake which was strawberry flavoured and the morning of her birthday her friends came over to help us decorate the house and organise a scavenger hunt for her. they planned to make chits but they ended up not doing that lol. i also had to pick up toppings for the ramen bar so i  picked up sausages and momo from our neighbourhood market. i also got kimchi and a crazy chili oil hehe. along with ramen and pizza we also had a big batch of mac and cheese made at home. btw all the supplies that i used for decoration were off blimkit and very last minute T-T

here are some pictures from the morning after hehe . we also bought her a lot of makeup and journaling supplies and her friends surprised her with a giant birthday card <3 it was truly a birthday to remember. after her birthday party we headed out to another birthday dinner which was hosted by my mom's friend. my sister and her have the same birthday so it was double the celebrations <3

shelf shopping day ˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀

hellooo babiessss <3 i'm so excited to tell you guys that i finally am going shelf shopping YAYYY. i'm in the car literally right now so excited to pick a nice one out hehehe. the thing is i'm studying for civil services and i am a political science major so i have a lot of books. so because of that, i have so much stuff to organise. also like side note, i have a terrible migraine and i feel like my sinuses are blocked too and i feel like throwing up in the car :') maybe it's because i had just one coffee today before getting out of the house which is totally my fault but yes please pray for me. anyways, back to my shelf nowww; too much stuff+too little space. i can manage and keep my books in storage especially the ones i won't be using so this shelf is exclusively for my trinkets.

i made a collage to visualise what my shelf should be like and i thought it would be cool to show you guys how i plan my stuff <3

i ate biryani and we got back from the furniture market. it was so tiring i literally am dead lol. not only that we went all the way from one part of delhi to fricking banjaara market in gurgaon. insane. anyways the shelf is finalised thank god. my bed has also been finalised hehe. wild card entry for the bed but it was beautiful+ there are customisations left so i dont know when that would be done. i will still go to ikea for the last time tomorrow just to take a look but whateverrr. there was this adorable leopard print carpet in banjaara market which i wasnt able to take </3 because my mom said no but hopefully one day i go back for it. gonna sleep now ･*:.｡.(๑>◡<๑).｡.:*･

HELLOOOO BABIESSSSSSS OMG DO YOU LOVE THE NEW LOOK UGH WOW guys i literally have been fighting for my life omfg stop. do you know how desperate i was to get the translucent overlay thing in my blog. i feel so saddened by the fact that i asked so many people to help but not one girlie ungatekept it T-T so here's what i learned all by myself eventually-

the reason i was not able to add the overlay or the reason my tabs looked completely off was because i chose the wrong theme. i had picked the first pink default wala i saw in the menu (the bubblegum one) and moved onto other things. matlab chalo, id say part of it was a bit better definitely but all the good blogs (ive linked them in the sidebars) had the translucent base. what i did differently to change the look permanently was ditch backgrounds and fonts and work directly with the default themes. now the effect of the screen having an overlay is all due to the picture window option (open) which of course NO ONE TOLD ME.

ANYWAYS. right after that i got started on my blog posts. i fixed the font and the colour palette and started working on new tabs. now, tabs can be of two types. one for the pages and one type that includes posts according to all keyword tab topics (labels). what i opted for was the tabs for pages which can be achieved very simply by adding pages to the layout>cross column.

you can add new pages under the blogger editor dashboard by clicking the new page after clicking pages.  

next, i added labels to all existing posts which be done by clicking this icon when viewing your posts through the dashboard. you just need to hover on your post in the list. the posts can have labels that distinguish the post categories.

really really convenient too! there are some tutorials on indigenous diva's socials that you can use for the tabs which was eventually how i figured out how to do mine hehe

obviously i added pretty gifs to everything it was SUCH A TASKKKKK it was such a task my god i had to resize everything again and again, i re-added the playlist widget as well that was one of the easiest widgets ever. also like just a heads up i started writing this post very long ago (not even that much) but ykwim i got distracted and fixed up more things lmfao. so obviously there's more cutie patootie insane amount of coding updates and two more small layout updates. i added a notification banner on top so i can put short updates of course. i also managed to make the read more button. earlier, my issue was the the fact that on my home page, the posts were showing up as long form texts which they are but i didn't want the home page to reveal the entire post T-T which is why i coded in a read more button. this im not sure how to add a code for because this was a lot of trial and error and i watched tutorials on twitter and facebook omg. 

along with these i added one qna form widget and also a poll for everyone's dream thrift find <3 but guys theres two more cool updates one which i did before plus the reason i actually sat down to write this post AHAHAHAH okay let me just say it. i added a tiny bratz doll that tells fun facts about me heheheheheh. i did this through a tutorial sugar kissed letters did. speaking of sugar kissed letters. i managed to code a widget like the lisa's world thing on my own ive been hyperfixating on fonts so the layout was pretty straightforward i made it a bit more complex by adding more personal elements like the shopping self care, the variety of foods and an eating animation (all of my absolute favs), the little vanity, a beagle during playtime too! all these things are strictly not ai i used a dress up app to build my mini me and all other things are colorgraded plus taken off pinterest hehehehe. im not sure if my happiness meter will work the same as hers but i dont mind i just love the idea of tamagotchi like items always <3

recent developments ‧❀༉‧₊˚.

hiii babiesssss omg the past few days all i've been doing is working on this tv widget i am so tired but its so fun and fulfilling ۫ <3 let me give yall a recap of what all happened recentlyy ;p i posted last on wednesday and its saturday today so basically i need to catch yall up on thursday and friday developments on the blog 

so you can see i added a little fortune ball that gives little predictions hehe nothing too specific but i really love the idea of a pink crystal ball telling me my future (which is hopefully bright with lots of success) its kind of weird writing these posts because i know this blog wont go live until ive figured the damn tabs thing out i dont even know how the girlies are achieving those translucent overlays on their background behind their posts it is so cute and perfect and neat i love it <333 i was heavily inspired by this blog i stumbled upon but i literally cannot find her anymore because my chrome history was deleted??? is this happening with anyone else omg

so yes the thing is i dont know when this blog will go public and who all will be viewing it T-T maybe it's my habit as a perfectionist to not do anything unless im perfect at it lol. THE OTHER REALLY COOL THING I ADDED IS THE PEAR SLAP PHONE \(𖦹ˊ ᗜ ˋ𖦹)/  literally the code for this was so straight forward but i'm a total beginner at coding so it was a headache for me; it is day zero for me i just keep trying stuff till it works !!!! which is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time i feel because i tire myself out and get really bummed when stuff does not work </3 do let me know if you would like me to post the code for it i'll copy it and add to the tab thing.

i also added a few more widgets, definitely more generic though. i added my spotify playlist, i added a drawing pad, i added a very basic cbox widget too ^_^ everything is of course as always; pink 💗on the more INTERESTING NOTEEE i also added a tamagotchi to my page!!!! i have always loved tamagotchi and for my 19th birthday my parents actually bought me one hehe.  i'll talk about it in my later posts but yes my tamagotchi or should i say tamanotchi was actually a very easy widget super straight foward you can head to the website i got it from by clicking on mine <3 my irl tamagotchi is also pink (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) 

my most ambitious widget which i coded myself along with a little help from random codes from diff blogs is the SWAG MEDIA CENTREEEEEEEEE. it took me a whole day to do it takes a lot of hit and trial so i unfortunately would leave the code for this upto you guys sorry for gatekeeping :") its all a fun process so don't worry you won't be bored doing thissss !!! my inspiration for this widget was @luvbugdiaries.blogspot.com 💞 her blog is beautiful and amazing i love ittttttttt maybe one day i'll drop the code for it in a treasure hunt way or a riddle way who knows lol

also i apologise for the weird sentence structures, im trying to keep the blog as casual as possible because i want it to feel like its a voice note's transcript. for the people that know me in real life i  know youre all sick of me yapping and yapping and yapping :p if i get a chance and i'm comfortable with the person the conversation would never end. trust.

anywaysss yeahh that's all that happened! yesterday my friend tia came over to give me my bags. i gave it to her for dry cleaning >-< and she showed me the bag i found for her hehehehe i'll put a picture here later while editing the post.

we ate lunch, it rained hard and in the evening she went home and i got started on the media centre ofc. bruno's also not doing the best we went to the vet and they said he has a condition called kcs-keratoconjunctivitis sicca and it will require a lot of care and the medication will be lifelong. he's definitely responding well to the medication so im just glad xx.

HELLOOOOO BABIESSSSS this is my first post <33333 its cloudy almost rainy over here and its 5:30 rn i had a long longgg day today i honestly dont even know what to write lol let me tell you guys about my day hehe

i woke up early today i had to give medicine to my dog bruno ♥︎ he's a beagle he is seven and he is the love of my life (i do have one more but theyre both the lomls) the cursor ive added is him only. so i got up did that and then i basically had a grilled cheese with cheddar and parm made with garlic bread of course :p i had that and then i received a parcel and you will actually die when you see it

one thing about me is that i loveeee and adore thrifting you know. im very very very into y2k stuff not in the shein ai slop fast fashion way but in the thrifting sustainable bedazzled way. so what i received today was basically my rakhi gift (i am indian yes) and i had asked bhai for a bag and a bag was what i got :P

so the bag i got, shoutout to @girliloveyourfits on ig !!!!! , is a vintage guess bag in my fav colour which is PINK. ANDDD not only that the bag is in brand new condition its amazing the hardware was wrapped in plastic, i got it in a dust bag of its own it is literally insane !!!

this was THE highlight of my day and then i kind of showered, studied a bit went down for lunch and i received ANOTHER parcel ૮₍˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ₎ა  and it was the soap dispenser i had ordered hehehe

my old one was purple but the rest of the bathroom's theme was pink, brown, and, white so i replaced it with a pearl pink shell shaped dispenser ill put up a picture later in my haul post <333 but yeah honestly that's all i've been doing- studying, sleeping,eating, taking care of bruno because he's had an eye infection for a while now :(
