helloooo babiesssss I TOLD YOU I'LL TRY TO DO A FUN POST TODAYYY  hehe im backkk!!! i had a really really long day but i'm really pleased with myself because ive caught up with my classes and i'm very happy with the progress. it still kind of unnerves me but i can't really do much about it i just need to let it be  you know? i'll get the hang of this new routine i believe in myself (im shit scared still lol) but also its 20 mins till its 24th oct officially my birthday eve and i think ill end up posting this way past midnight because i just started typing haha

i wanna talk about my absolute fav tamagotchi devices and similar consoles you know? i feel like here in india i barely see people that actually know the cartoon and the genuine lore behind it? i would love to connect with actual baddies who have tamagotchis <3 (yall wouldnt even catch the reference tamagotchi devices can connect lol) i have no idea what im saying honestly please excuse my poor humour (?) i come here to verbal vomit my thoughts and i promise i know how to use punctuation i just want my posts to ramble the same way i do irl.

ive literally always loved tamagotchis i genuinely cannot remember the last time i wasn't begging my parents to buy me one. when they did get me one for my 19th birthday i was sobbing and i had snot bubbles it was a very real ugly emotional moment for me definitely and yes i did know they were getting me one i wasnt surprised with one T-T and even after that i was so overcome by emotion and general gratitude that i needed to do breathing exercises to calm down. tl;dr I LOVE TAMAGOTCHIS the first one i ever saw was on youtube on buzzfeed i think when the tamagotchi nanos were brought back. 

that was insane. the amount of love i had for that little pixel egg creature i swear i had dreams about holding and owning one. my parents never fully understood it like i was obviously the first born so i was anyways presumed older and mature but i loved barbies, dolls, shopkins and other stuff ALWAYS like even when i was in 9th grade i wanted a polly pocket for my birthday. ill try to add the exact video i watched i remember i was so obsessed with a shell pattern 

okay went down a quick rabbit hole!!! before the tamagotchi nanos were a thing they were called tamagotchi CHIBISSSSSS thats what i was looking forrr so yes take a look here hehe 

i desperately wanted the second one and the last one lol and i obviously didnt get it because it was discontinued yearssss ago </3 

anyways after those i went through people's collections mind you these collection videos are from 2016-2018, i decided if my tamagotchi wasnt a connection device+ specifically the tamagotchi connection v3 or the keitai I DONT WANT ONE. the v1 and v2 didnt have cute graphics and the v3 had a bunch of cool features and v4 and v5 were a bit too unachievable and rare. imagine if they were rare back in 2017 HOW RARE ARE THEY NOW. also this is a long longgg intro maybe ill add one more post after this talking about my current favourite and achievable pixel toy purchase wishlist (?)  

okay i saw something which made my stomach drop but its fine i'll live i guess lol its no big deal ANYWAYS mood off hota rehta hai its fine. i wanna talk about tamagotchis. 

when i was a kid in 2018 we also had another crazy tamagotchi release and i think it was called the tamagotchi on/ tamagotchi meets in japan and me and my sister took all our birthday money, got it together and decided to purchase a tamagotchi on one for both both of us a pink and a purple device. but guess what else happened in 2018????? FREAKING DEMONETISATION IN INDIA dont mind me cussing but what the actual fuck bhai. i dont know if ive talked about this here before but basically what happened was that all the cash we collected ended up being taken to the bank to be exchanged for the new notes and we never got the cash back from our parents lol. devastating i know and now theyre sold for 100's of usd unfortunately. should've invested when baby nivi wanted it T-T 

i also really loved the other random tamagotchis; the tamawalkies, the school tamas, the music star version, tamagotchi p's, tamagotchi friends omg i had just so many favourites.

 

the absolute behemoth of a tamagotchi device; the tamagotchi restaurant is indeed a dream till i get RICH RICH it is of course expensive as hell but it combines both of my favourite types of gameplay, pixel and cooking hehe and this is also a 1000 usd......

in the end of course if it is possible one day i would like to get only my favourite versions of each. i hope this isnt encouraging overconsumption T-T if there are some sellers who are seeing this, please don't make tamagotchis the next labubu. i want to be able to buy them once i start earning my own money <3 now obviously i found some devices which are a level 6 on the scale 1-10 difficulty level to source. 

omg also i love LOVE PIXEL CHIX 10/10 no freaking notes absolutely adore it.

another very similar pixel chix-esque revival happened in korea with this device its called the secret jouju secret house touchpad and girl when i tell you i have been HUNTING FOR THIS. anyone's korean mumma wanting to declutter it right into my hands???

what i've show you so far are all unrealistic and asbolutely dream finds you know? NOWWW i'll show you which ones ive been really wanting!!! :P

FIRST UP IS A PUNIRUNE!!! this device seems to have a finger poking (?) interactive element but it looks so fun and adorable <333 i'll be getting this soon hehehehehe 10/10 i love the graphics i love the gameplay everything ive seen online looks fun and the finger poking concept is def smth new!!

NEXTTTT is this SANRIO POCKET ROOM which definitely reminds me of tama meets sanrio edition but cuter graphics and no connection options T-T  but i LOVEEE IT ITS SO CUTE i love the little house detail i think its so adorable and i love a good moving element of course :p this is unfortunately only available in japan and ill need to do preorder for this 

next up ISSSSS A TAMAGEZI girl i know its literally a knockoff chinese tamagotchi but the gameplay and everthing is surprisingly detailed!!! like it converted me a tamagotchi purist into a diverse vpet baddie hehe. we can do farming, get a job, go to TWO RESTAURANTS?? this is so insane you know i love game food graphics <3

 NEXTTTT ARE THE TAMAGOTCHIS I WANT HEHE theyre unique and cool so i think its okay even if i have just one of them 

i adore these so much they make my heart beat fast <3 no one can tell me that im too old for these i will keep buying them, in the next year im manifesting the vintage tamagotchi to get a reboot like the connection (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
